He claims these foods are loaded with dangerous compounds that damage our blood vessels.

The medical establishment loves to scare people about traditional American foods that families have enjoyed for generations. According to their studies, eating just 50 grams of processed meat per day increases stroke risk by 15 percent. They say nitrites and sodium in these foods inflame our arteries and make blood clots more likely.

But here’s what these health police won’t tell you. Americans have been eating bacon, sausage, and hot dogs for over a century while building the greatest nation on earth. Our grandparents and great-grandparents thrived on these foods while working hard and raising strong families. Suddenly we’re supposed to believe these same foods are deadly.

The real problem isn’t what’s on our dinner plates. It’s the stress of living under a government that wants to control every aspect of our lives, including what we eat for breakfast. High taxes, endless regulations, and constant fear-mongering from the media do more damage to our health than a morning strip of bacon ever could.

These studies always ignore the bigger picture. People who eat more processed meat might also smoke more, exercise less, or have other unhealthy habits. But the researchers want to blame everything on a hot dog at a baseball game. It’s easier to target food than address real problems like lack of exercise or poor sleep.

The same experts telling us to avoid processed meat are the ones who flip-flop on health advice every few years. Remember when eggs were supposed to kill us, then suddenly they were healthy again. These people change their minds more often than politicians during election season.

What’s really happening here is an attack on American food culture and personal freedom. They want us eating expensive organic vegetables while they dine on whatever they please. Working families shouldn’t have to choose between feeding their kids and following the latest health fad from ivory tower academics.

The truth is simple. Everything in moderation, including moderation itself. If you want bacon with your eggs or a hot dog at the ballpark, that’s your God-given right as an American. Don’t let food fascists guilt you into giving up the simple pleasures that make life worth living.
